ABOUT
Welcome to the Deviot Boat House.
Designed and built by My Build, The Deviot Boat House has the vibe of a luxury retreat that captures the essence of Tasmania.
Situated right on the river bank - once a home to a thriving shipbuilding industry, the ‘boat house’ blends into the heart of the Tamar Valley.
This immersive accommodation experience is a must for those looking for a unique Tasmanian escape.
We look forward to hosting you.
ACCOMMODATION
Light flows in, through panoramic windows that frame spectacular waterfront views. Sliding glass doors open onto a large cantilevered deck, giving the feeling of being suspended over the Tamar River.
The open plan kitchen, dining and living area is both cozy and inviting. A 45-degree raking ceiling creates a light-filled, voluminous space with hand crafted Tasmanian oak timber features throughout.
Two mirror image bedrooms, one at each end of the dwelling, feature floor-to-ceiling double glazed windows which capture the expansive water views. Each has its own hotel like bathroom with double showers and vanities. Free standing baths open to covered decks with outdoor showers to feel at one with nature and inhale Tassie’s fresh air.
